One Eighty is a youth mental health charity, run by young adults for young adults. Founded in 2017 by Paris Jeffcoat, Samanatha Callendar and Leanne Westlake, created in response to the concern and occurrence of youth suicide on the Northern Beaches.

What we love about One Eighty? They are a local charity that do great things for the young people in our community. They place a strong emphasis on peer-to-peer support, running a range of programs on mental health, support groups and suicide prevention.

Why One Eighty? Cranston Schwarz is the Director of Schwarz Real Estate and has lived on the Northern Beaches his whole life and raised two children here. “Being a full-time single dad to 18 year old twin boys, I have witnessed first-hand the highs and lows that teenagers face, through school and into their young adult life. For this reason I wanted to associate my business with a local charity that deals with teenage anxiety and depression in the community that I love.” Cranston says.

Like most charities, One Eighty rely on donations to run programs and continue their work towards a suicide free youth. “Suicide prevention requires a collaborative approach and One Eighty works at a grassroots community level to achieve this. It is incredibly important to find businesses who are aligned and genuinely interested in supporting the mental health of young Australians.” Says Paris, Co-founder of One Eighty.

“We are so grateful to have found Schwarz Real Estate who wish to work closely with us to create the greatest impact possible. Schwarz will be financially supporting the running of our Community Training Program which equips members of the community with skills in having lifesaving conversations with those they are concerned about.”

As part of our commitment to One Eighty, Schwarz will donate $100 from every property SOLD or LEASED within our agency! In addition, Schwarz are also major sponsors of One Eighty’s biggest fundraising event of the year – the Annual Gala in October at the Boathouse Palm Beach.
